THE EXTENDED DEFINITION OF ALLEGORY

Annotation: The article describes allegory, the types of it and similarity between other literary types. . Allegory is most commonly sorted by the tradition it emerges from: biblical, classical, or modern. Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" is a concept devised by the philosopher to ruminate on the nature of conviction versus knowledge. The Allegory of the Cave is a story from Book VII in the Greek philosopher Plato's masterpiece. The allegory states that there exists prisoners tied down together in a cave. This prisoner would acknowledge the outside world is such significantly more certifiable than that in the cave.
