Abstract: This article examines the concept of digital technologies, the role of digital technologies in educational processes, the possibilities of informatization of the educational system based on digital technologies and the issues of their use. In the process of informatization of education based on digital technologies, the main concepts include information, computer, information system, information technologies, actions performed on information. The content and essence of the science of pedagogy were comparatively analyzed in the process of informational education based on the traditional teaching system and digital technologies. Information about the role, opportunities and shortcomings of informatization of the educational process based on digital technologies is presented. . Therefore, this article talks about the high effectiveness of lessons conducted using digital technologies.
