Abstract: Content-based teaching represents a promising approach to inspire pre-intermediate English learners in their language acquisition journey. This article investigates various methods and best practices for implementing content-based instruction to stimulate student interest and participation. Through a synthesis of theoretical frameworks and classroom applications, educators can gain valuable insights into leveraging authentic content to enhance language learning outcomes and promote sustained student motivation in the English classroom.
