Abstract

Abstract: This review paper examines the profound influence of mythology on modern English literature. It traces the historical evolution of mythology in literature, from its origins in ancient civilizations to its incorporation into English literature during the Renaissance and beyond; explores common mythological themes and motifs in modern literature, as well as the use of symbolism and allegory derived from mythology.
