THE INFLUENCE OF INTERNET SLANG ON THE SPEECH CULTURE OF MODERN YOUTH

Abstract

Annotation: The article discusses and analyzes the main, most productive ways of word formation of Russian youth slang. The article also explores the concept of "youth slang" as an integral part of the modern English language. The authors consider the main linguistic and stylistic features of slang. At the moment, in many countries of the world there is an intensive process of transformation of a living spoken language, the essential moment of which is the emergence of a new youth slang. We live in the age of the Internet. It is very comfortable. The Internet allows you to communicate with people over long distances. Previously, our moms and dads, grandparents wrote letters, ran to the mailbox with a sinking heart, waiting for an answer. And now the signal of the mobile phone notifies us about a message in one or another network. You can learn a lot of new and useful things from the Internet: people from all over the world share their skills and abilities from different fields with us. We are already so used to these benefits that we cannot imagine our life without a network.
