Annotation: this article describes the ways, methods and means of improving the "methodology of speech" module of the mother tongue teaching methodology. Today, the introduction of various innovations in the education system serves to improve the quality of education. In particular, the importance of project education in the improvement of the "Methodology of teaching the mother tongue" module is incomparable. This article describes the methods of applying the design method in the improvement of the "methodology of speech development" module and organizing it in the educational process.
