Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the role of English as a crucial medium for cultural exchange in a globalized world. With over 1.5 billion speakers, English facilitates communication across diverse populations, enabling the sharing of traditions and values. Its influence extends to literature and media, where it shapes cultural trends and promotes cross-cultural dialogue. In education, English fosters cultural awareness and international collaboration among researchers. While English enhances cultural exchange, it also poses challenges, such as the potential marginalization of local languages. The article emphasizes the importance of balancing the advantages of English with the preservation of linguistic and cultural diversity to foster meaningful global exchanges.
